The image you are seeing is the scheme of LIS finger spelling: for our Community dinner we were freely inspired by Aperisegno, a project of awareness and approach to sensory disability made by the Cultural Association Fedora.
Since 2018, the Fedora Cultural Association has promoted cultural accessibility for people with disabilities (with a focus on sensory disabilities) with the aim of providing equal opportunities for access to culture and educating society to a new approach to disability.
This year, Fedora is partnering with BASE along with the many other organizations with which we have built a capacity building path around inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility. Our goal is to acquire or strengthen tools and knowledge that make us an increasingly plural institution. We want to improve our structure, the curation and management of projects, the cultural proposal, our communication. We want to be promoter of a change that we hope interests and involves the whole community and the BASE audience.
